In 2026 we collaborated with ZSL’s education team, acting as a case study for the online course: Transforming teaching with nature. This course aims to encourage and support teachers to provide outdoor learning and nature education.

Within the course, we introduce HogWatch, our work in greater London and give insights into different methods to monitor biodiversity in school grounds. We share some tips on how to make schools and other green spaces more wildlife friendly with a focus on what we can do to help Hedgehogs!

This CPD UK-accredited course is aimed at primary school teachers. Within it, there are many more biodiversity concepts, activities and downloadable resources to be found.
